Feast your eyes on the 2017 Fish Lane Festival music and entertainment menu

Fish Lane Festival is thrilled to reveal its 2017 music & entertainment menu, featuring some of Brisbane’s best homegrown funk, soul, jazz and blues, and electronic talent performing live and free across three stages on Saturday, 13 May.

From midday onwards, the Fish Lane Festival Stage, presented by Colonial Brewing & Co will welcome Sydney jazz vocalist, Ella Haber, to set the mood for an idyllic afternoon of wining and dining. With a big year ahead for this incredible artist, Fish Lane Festival is bursting with excitement to share her amazing voice with Brisbane.

Tania

Next up, the audience will hear from Tiana Khasi, best known for her serene vocals and collaborations with the likes of Sampology, Golden Vessel and The Kite String Tangle. Then to turn things up a notch, the Dave Orr Band will follow with his energetic rock and blues tunes.

As the sun sets, Brisbane singer songwriter, Mark Lowndes, will grace the stage for a second year, with his full band performing tracks from his recent debut album, along with some old favourites.

Kerbside Collection will be rounding out the festival with a BANG, getting the crowd up for a good old fashioned boogie with their high energy funk sounds, so bring your dancing shoes!

Over at the Tanqueray Gin Jungle and Bertie Cider Garden, festival goers can grab a cocktail and enjoy the refreshingly delicious sounds of some of Brisbane’s best DJs including Thomas Prime, Brett J, Midnight Tango with David Flynn on Sax, and Adam Hunter.

The party won’t stop there, though. Head up the back stairs of The Fox Hotel for a special Pimms Rooftop Garden Party featuring Soho DJs and jugs of fruity Pimms to share with friends. Get ready to groove along to energetic DJ sets from the likes of Dulcett, Lirks, Dirty Love, Zeddy and Manson from 2pm onwards.

Kebside Collection

In a Fish Lane Festival first, Brush & Barrel sip’n’paint studio has joined forces with Vasse Felix to host a free Paint, Sip and Stomp Workshop in the lane from midday until 6pmwhere you can create your own masterpiece, wind down with a glass of vino, and take part in a special grape stomp to help us produce our very own Fish Lane Festival wine! There is nothing like the feeling of grapes between bare toes – so toss off your shoes, and jump in the oak barrel to experience grape pressing and have a hands-and-feet-on role in people-powered plonk making.

Proudly presented by Colonial Brewing Co, The Fox Hotel and Aria Property Group, Fish Lane Festival is a FREE, fully licensed 18+ event. Minors are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
